Another photo from Kyoto. I'm not sure what the shrine is dedicated to though. The board at the entrance is to mark next year's Chinese year of the dog. Round the back was a Noh stage, a figure of a boar, and a photo of a WW2 battleship (apparently one of the very few that survived the war intact).

In a tiny temple up in the hills not far from Kyoto. It was about as cold inside the temple as outside in the snow. The tea was hot though.
